I already have a Health Insurance, what is the advantage of having a Health Plan?

The Sorriso Mais Prime Plan can be a complement or alternative to the Health Insurance you have, as it has advantages and benefits that are often not guaranteed by the Health Insurance.

 

What is the advantage of being a Sorriso Mais Prime customer?

Through Sorriso Mais Prime, in addition to having access to a wide network of quality and diversified healthcare providers, you have access to exclusive campaigns in the field of dentistry with unique advantages in the placement of dental appliances, prostheses, implants and prostheses over implants. You have access to free Telemedicine services and extra 5% discounts on experiences from the north to the south of the country.

 

How can I join the Plan?

Are there age limits for Joining the Plan?

There is no age limit, everyone can enjoy all the benefits of the Plan.


Can minors benefit from the Plan?

Yes! There are no age restrictions for beneficiaries. However, the holder of the Sorriso Mais Prime Plan must be of legal age.

Is there a grace period?

The Smile Mais Prime Plan has no grace period. You can start benefiting from the plan right away, as soon as you receive your card.

 

Does the plan have sickness exclusions?

There is no exclusion of any kind. Anyone can join the Plan. People with chronic illnesses can immediately benefit from specialist consultations, for example.

How many people can be part of the Plan?

There is no limit on the number of beneficiaries. The Plan can cover your entire family.

 

What should I do to include a person from my household in the Plan?

You should call the Customer Support Line: 212 045 660 (Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm) to request a change in your contract data. You can, if you prefer, use the e-mail: geral@sorrisomaisprime.pt explaining the situation.
 

Are medical questionnaires needed?

You will not have to fill out any clinical questionnaire. The Sorriso Mais Prime Plan is hassle-free and can be used immediately.

 

Where can I find the address of participating clinics?

Access the Medical Network available on the website and find out about all participating clinics near you.

 

Will I be able to use the services without a card?

Not! The card will give you access to all the benefits of the Plan. You will always have to present your card to health providers in order to access all the benefits as a customer, including discounts on all appointments.

 

After treatments, when will I be reimbursed?

The Sorriso Mais Prime Plan does not work with refunds, but with final prices.
You can consult discounts for treatments and consultations in your Client Area.
All active customers, when presenting the customer card at the healthcare provider, have access to immediate discounts on all appointments/specialties.

Will I be able to get discounts at clinics outside the medical network?

The Sorriso Mais Prime Plan gives you immediate discounts on providers that belong to your Medical Network. To find out about the health providers in which you can benefit from the plan's benefits, you will have to access your Client Area.

 

How can I find out how much I will pay for a consultation or treatment?

By accessing your client area, you will have access to all information about the Medical Network.
If you have any questions, please contact the Customer Helpline: 212 045 660 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm).

How should I proceed to make an appointment?

In the Client Area, after choosing the clinic where you want to make an appointment, you must contact the healthcare provider directly. On the day of the consultation you must present your Sorriso Mais Prime card to benefit from all the benefits.
 

Can I change the contract address?

As the contract holder, you should contact the Customer Support Line: 212 045 660 (Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm) to find out about the procedures, or use the email: geral@sorrisomaisprime.pt.

What is the contact and available hours of the Doctor at Home?

If you have subscribed to this service, you should call the Home Doctor Hotline: 210 960 497, available 24 hours a day.
To activate this service, the Sorriso Mais Prime card must be with you.

 

Are there any annual limitations on the use of the Home Doctor Service?

The Home Doctor service has no usage limits.

 

Will I be able to benefit from the Home Doctor service outside the contract address?

Yes. The doctor will go where to where you are.

What is the average waiting time at the Doctor at Home?

Waiting time may increase or decrease depending on: Screening performed on the patient; Symptoms; Age; Weather Conditions; Flow of households. An average of 2 hours in Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto and 4 hours in the rest of the country.

 

Are there any limits on the use of Telemedicine services?

It has no usage limits, it is available to all active customers, whenever they need it.

 

What is the contact and opening hours of the Telemedicine service?

The Telemedicine service is available every day, 24 hours a day, through the number: 210 960 497.

 

What types of consultations are covered by the Telemedicine service?

This service includes General Medicine, and doctors will be able to screen and monitor symptoms, illnesses, analysis, and prescribe medical prescriptions. If you have a serious or acute illness you should see a specialist doctor.
